How to Take Care of your Health?
Antibiotics are no longer working on many extremely dangerous bacteria or they only work in doses that that cause serious side effects. The development of these antibiotic resistant ‘superbugs’ is in the order of a crisis. In the years following the introduction of antibiotics they were (and still are) used for the treatment of common colds and flu and other complaints. Antibiotics, such as tetracycline were used (and still are) over long periods of time for the treatment of acne. Ampicillin and bactrim were used for the wrong reasons and there has been a reliance on antibiotics to treat recurrent bladder infections, chronic ear infections, chronic sinusitis, chronic bronchitis and non-bacterial sore throats.
The current approach of our health care system is ineffective and can potentially cause more harm and damage than the original condition. Although undoubtedly many lives have been saved by timely medical intervention much medical intervention is unnecessary and alternatives, which don’t cause the same devastation, are available. Everyone needs to consider the way they interact with the medical system. Try to avoid the health care system if you can and certainly question your medical practitioner very carefully about any intervention they wish to make. Many will not like this questioning and just want to be seen as the ‘all knowing, all wise doctor’ – but this they are not! Do not be conned and do not buy into myths about the medical profession and health care.
Providers who have ongoing relationships with either practice-consultants or vendors. If either these consultants/vendors or their clients become the target of a fraud investigation, such an investigation may result in providers relying on those consultant/vendor services to be dragged into an investigation. Investigators want to know, and rightly so, whether providers working with targeted consultants/ vendors were engaged in related misconduct, or have information that would further ongoing investigations. A good example of this is what happened to many providers who worked with a major MD/DC practice consultant who was successfully prosecuted.
Alternative health care is something that has been around for quite some time. Alternative health care is practices that are not scientifically proven. A good example is what is called a home remedy. These are practices that people have used for centuries and that they believe to work. Alternative health care is coming back into the forefront of medicine because many people are concerned about the side effects of modern medicine practices.
Home remedies are also preferred by many because of a belief that the pharmaceutical companies are not interested in your health. While there are many examples of big drug companies greed and avarice, their products are very widely used and are considered both safe and effective. Make no mistake, this does not mean that they can be used without risk or should be used by just anyone.
With home remedies for skin hydration, the situation is different. The side-effects are unknown and sometimes the ingredients have no effect whatsoever. There are some people who sell these recipes and others who start rumors about the efficiency of certain plants or fruits. Using such a treatment is dangerous because there is no study which proves its efficiency.
